Every commission moves through the same pipeline, start to finish, so you always know what's next.
We talk through the project: what you need, the reference tracks, and the timeline.
Once the scope and quote are confirmed, the commission is booked.
You send over your vocal takes, instrumental, and any reference material following the file guide below.
Files are checked over to confirm everything needed is present and usable before work starts.
A 30% deposit is collected to secure your spot and kick off production.
Raw vocal takes are cleaned up: removing background noise, clicks, and other unwanted artifacts.
When applicable, vocal takes are aligned to the instrumental so every phrase sits where it should.
Levels are set across every track so nothing is clipping or buried before deeper mix work begins.
When applicable, pitch correction is applied to match the style and delivery you're going for.
You review the timed and tuned vocal before it moves into full mixing.
EQ, compression, reverb, slaps, and everything else that shapes the final sound of the track.
You review the mix and send over any notes.
Mix revisions continue until it's approved, then the track moves on to mastering.
You review the mastered track against the mix and confirm it's ready.
Revisions continue until the track is exactly where you want it, then final files are delivered.
A few recent commissions and covers.
Sending clean files up front means a faster turnaround and a better final mix.
Send .wav or .flac files only, no .mp3 when possible. Compressed formats lose detail that can't be recovered during mixing or mastering.
48kHz/24-bit is ideal. Let me know the settings your session was recorded in so nothing gets resampled unexpectedly.
No reverb, autotune, or effects baked in. Raw takes give me the most room to work with for timing, tuning, and mixing.
Send the backing track or stems as its own file, ideally the same one your vocal was recorded against, so everything lines up.
Use a naming pattern like SongTitle_Vocal_Take1.wav and SongTitle_Instrumental.wav so nothing gets mixed up.
A link to the original song, a reference mix, or an artist whose tone you're chasing helps me match the sound you have in mind.
Google Drive, Dropbox, or WeTransfer, etc. Attach the link in your inquiry or in the followup email once your commission is confirmed.

Base rates are listed in the pricing guide above, but exact quotes can vary by track length and complexity.
A 30% deposit is required to secure your spot in the queue, with the remaining balance due on final delivery.
Turnaround depends on the current queue, the scope of the commission, and your own requested time constraint. You'll get an estimated delivery window when your quote is confirmed.
Rush requests may be accommodated for an added fee, depending on availability.
I go by an unlimited number of revision rounds for best results, but I ask you keep revisions set to their specific stage. No tuning revisions once we move to mixing, no mixing changes once we move to master. Revisions past their current stage may require a small fee.
Revision requests should be specific. Timestamped notes get the fastest turnaround.
Once paid in full, you commercially own the final mixed/mastered file for your own release, upload, and distribution.
You may not claim you did the work I did.
I retain the right to use short clips of the finished work in my own portfolio and social media unless you request otherwise.
Deposits are nonrefundable once work has begun. If you cancel before I've started, your deposit may be refunded minus any processing fees.
Please keep backups of your original files. I'm not responsible for data loss on your end, and I'll retain project files for 3 months before archiving them.
